The music of the Feral Conservatives is truly a labor of love. In February 2013, the band was formed by Rashie Rosenfarb, who sings and plays the mandolin and bass guitar, and Matt Francis, who plays drums, electric guitar, and the organ. The dual nature of the Feral Conservatives is unmistakable between Francis’s brash, angsty bravado and Rosenfarb’s wispy and melodic mandolin and vocals. Simultaneously they can turn up the appropriate amount of distortion and energy when playing their music on stage.

On June 28, 2014, Rosenfarb and Francis consummated their love for music and each other in marriage, and on their visit to Tokyo, the highlight of their trip was climbing Mount Fuji together. Now back in the United States, they are focused and excited on what they have planned. In addition to the tour, they will be going back into the studio with Padgett later this month to finish a new full-length album and record songs for a split with friends out of Austin called The Diabolical Machines.
